Meet Your Trainer
I'm Greg DeFazio, the trainer behind True Line K9 Academy. Working with dogs has been my passion since a young age. I help owners develop calm, reliable dogs through clear communication and consistent structure. It's about more than commands, it's about building a bond and a relationship with your dog that lasts.
I share my home with my wife Taylor, our son, and our Australian Labradoodle Rico, my full-time training partner.

My approach was shaped by years around working dogs, including police K9 programs. What those dogs taught me is simple: clear communication and steady structure produce a dog you can trust anywhere. That is the standard every program I run is built to.
I specialize in obedience that holds up in everyday life: clearer communication, stronger engagement, and reliable manners. Every program is individualized around the dog and handler in front of me, focused on the skills that matter outside the training session: leash work, recall, place, sit, down, stay, and calm behavior around real distractions. Whether you are starting with a young puppy or working through everyday challenges, the goal stays the same: a more confident, balanced dog and a stronger relationship between the two of you.
